Fine welding device PUK 6
A comparison with its predecessors unveils: 2 0 years of experience and passion in development
are taking micro welding technology with the PUK 6 to a completely new level.
The PUK 6 sets new standards when compared to its predecessors, benefitting from two decades of experience and dedicated passion in developing fine welding equipment. This exceptional tool is designed for goldsmiths, silversmiths, watchmakers, and various other professionals in related fields.
The PUK 6 offers an array of capabilities, including welding findings, applying metal to jewelry and watch edges and surfaces in a manner similar to laser welding, fixing delicate work, welding eyelets, closing pores, creating seams, and welding precious metals like silver, copper, bronze, and other weldable alloys. Impressive precision allows the PUK 6 to handle material thicknesses as low as 0.2 mm and below.
The facts of the PUK 6 welders at a glance
PUK 6 welders
- The new PUK 6 welders can do up to 3.3 spot welds per second, which is up to 65% faster than before. The welds are more even and smoother, even with varying distances between spots.
- If needed, the welders can deliver more heat, ensuring excellent results even with challenging materials. In the lower power range, the PUK 6 can produce spot welds that are 50% finer.
- Additionally, the minimum pulse duration has been reduced to just 0.1 ms, making the impulse duration in micro mode 67% shorter.
- 20% faster and thus more agile electrode lifting
- Maximum electrode thickness now up to 1 mm
- Up to 50 % longer service life of the electrode
- Average measured service life improvement in test setups, actual value depends on individual user profile
- 70% higher display resolution with increased viewing angle under all environmental conditions Faster operation and material selection (gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper alloys, titanium and more) through direct control with one-hand joystick with turn-push-tilt function
- Faster maximum spot weld sequence due to extended speed function – selectable in 3 levels Refined micro mode with tighter gradation enables extended spectrum when welding at the lower powerlimit
- New standby mode: Continuous availability with 85% lower energy consumption
